About the Class
Our Women’s Class is delivered in partnership with Amazonia Self Defence, a team specialising in female‑focused personal safety and practical martial arts. This programme recognises that women often face different types of threats and real‑world situations, so the training is specifically designed to address those challenges with realistic, effective strategies.
This is a women‑only class, led by a skilled female instructor who creates a safe, comfortable, and encouraging environment. Whether you’re completely new or already active, you’ll learn at your own pace and build skills that help you feel stronger, safer, and more confident.
What you will learn:
-
Practical Self-Defence for Women: Clear, effective techniques tailored to the kinds of confrontations women are statistically more likely to encounter — including boundary‑setting, de‑escalation, escape strategies, and close‑range defence.
-
Empowering Martial Arts Techniques: Learn strikes, movement, and defensive skills that rely on timing and leverage, not strength, making them suitable for all body types and fitness levels.
-
Strength, Fitness & Confidence: Build power, mobility, and resilience while training in a space free from pressure, judgement, or intimidation.
-
Female-Led, Female-Focused Coaching: Your instructor understands the physical and emotional realities women may experience, and teaches with empathy, clarity, and real-world expertise.
-
A Supportive Community: Train alongside other women, build connections, and develop confidence as a team — with guidance from Amazonia Self Defence’s experienced instructors.
